RISE Volunteer

Our RISE Leadership Programme works with teenagers in schools and youth groups from tough inner city background. RISE equips teenagers to make a positive difference in their community through learning leadership skills and carrying out a community project.

Our RISE Mentoring Programme is a follow on option for the teenager after the Leadership Programme. It is a 6-8 week journey based on the GROW mentoring model that will enable young people to set goals in relation to school and community engagement, which is the main focus of our mentoring program.

A volunteer group facilitator and/or mentor giving 1.5 hours a week for 8-10 weeks will provide teenagers with a positive role model and enable them to put their learning into practice in their community.
