My favourite thing about RISE was coming up with creative ways to help others.

Diana, Transition Year Participant

RISE will create student leaders from within the school, for their community.

David, Teacher and Transition Year Coordinator

I felt I got closer to the teenagers with RISE than with other programmes I’ve used because the community project provides the opportunity to actually do something with them.

Joel, Church Youth Worker

As youth workers and churches, we often want to engage with the young people in our community but just don’t know how. And in the busyness of work, it can be hard to find the time and space to seek out ideas and different perspectives.

But a good resource can help us to get unstuck and engage with teenagers. When that happens, the whole community wins.

Innovista’s RISE Programme is a 6 module youth leadership programme that equips teenagers with the practical skills to identify and meet needs through carrying out a community project. Delivered by youth workers in local schools or youth groups over 7-12 weeks it gives teenagers an experience of community service that builds their confidence and self-worth, instils hope, and introduces them to a lifetime of volunteering.
