Find Your Place

The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world's deep hunger meet. - Frederick Buechner

Life in your twenties can be hard. You’re too old for youth and student groups, but the rest of church life can feel geared towards those with kids. You’re navigating the world of work, trying to find your ‘dream job’ whilst maintaining work-life balance. Some of your friends are married and buying their own homes, some are backpacking around Australia.

Find Your Place invites you to take time and think about what all of this means for where God has placed you.

Once a week, for 5 weeks, you’ll meet with other young adults to explore the path God has brought you on, and where He wants you to go next.

We know that God is always at work; weaving His purposes in this world and in us. But we usually need help and an outside perspective to see this in our own lives.

At a time of life when you have so many options before you, and a hustle culture that doesn’t want us to sit still, Find Your Place helps you take the time to open up your life to God. Explore what He has for you here and now, and what that means for your future.

Here’s what changed for others who completed Find Your Place:

Find Your Place has really shifted what I think about mission. What am I passionate about? I’ve realised it’s women in S.T.E.M. They need to be represented and connected with and loved well in a predominantly male industry. I’m beginning to realise this is my mission field! -M

I feel more confident that my current work is what I should be doing- that it is something that glorifies God.- Josh

My experience with Find Your Place taught me a lot about intentionality and commitment. When we consistently show up and ask God questions, He consistently reveals more of Himself and gives direction. It was really helpful in highlighting the gifts God has given me, as well are the areas I need to grow in.”– Jenny

There’s also the option to follow up Find Your Place with an opportunity to intentionally explore mission over 6 months.
